After being in the class "for a while" (Who says I'm old?! I prefer experienced, with a youthful demeanor.) some parts of the planning process become a bit second nature or we go on automatic pilot, leading to being less thoughtful about planning. Your piece reminds us to revisit the process with fresh eyes.
Tracy Zordannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-45969838602256425.post-43495676199332375652016-01-04T07:30:02.754-05:002016-01-04T07:30:02.754-05:00Tony,

I think of my days as a classroom teacher and I often remember that my planning had a direct influence on behavior and learning. Quick planning often resulted in increased behavioral issues and below mastery learning. I quickly learned that: Failure to Plan, is Planning to Fail.

Thanks for the share, I will be passing this along to many others.

-BenBenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07328856531024667114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-45969838602256425.post-22009904519028847122016-01-03T09:49:46.789-05:002016-01-03T09:49:46.789-05:00Thanks for this timely posting Tony. Your blog personalizes the planning process. I'd like to use this to help them articulate their own understanding of planning.
